Heath Gross |

As founder and CEO, Heath Gross has built Sedulo Group into a world-class provider of competitive intelligence and strategy consulting services. Heath is a seasoned competitive intelligence professional with over ten years of experience in primary research and strategy consulting. He has managed projects across the industry spectrum, including life science, healthcare, professional services, information technology, and manufacturing. As CEO, Heath provides the overall strategic leadership for the company and works with Sedulo Group clients to implement competitive intelligence programs and strategies that enable them to outperform and outmaneuver their competition. Heath is actively involved in the competitive intelligence community, serving as a long-time member of SCIP and as head of the Midsouth SCIP Chapter. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville and holds an advanced degree in Intelligence Studies from the United States Intelligence School.

Heather Rumancik |

Heather Rumancik joined Sedulo over ten years ago and held a variety of positions before becoming the Director of Sedulo’s Life Sciences Division in 2017. She is a seasoned CI professional with in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry. Over the course of her time at Sedulo, Heather has successfully supported the efforts of multiple top 20 pharma companies, providing leadership to projects covering all aspects of the product lifecycle from proof of concept through loss of exclusivity. Her areas of expertise include immunology, oncology, vaccines, infectious diseases, consumer health, CV, respiratory, CNS, women’s health, medical devices and healthcare technology. In her current role, Heather provides strategic oversight to the Life Sciences Division, ensuring that project objectives are met. Heather holds a BA in International Business and French from Bellarmine University and an MBA from the University of Louisville.

Erik Iwanski |

As the Associate Director of Sedulo’s Business Services division, Erik Iwanski provides operational oversight and strategic leadership. Erik is an accomplished intelligence professional with prior positions in both government and corporate intelligence applications. This includes the execution of intelligence collection across multiple intelligence source types and translating the formal intelligence cycle for private industry use. Erik has designed, built, and led the intelligence divisions at two major healthcare companies (revenues in excess of $500M) where his combination of operational subject matter expertise in classified intelligence and cyber operations produced sustainable, strategic divisions that guide company operations. Erik received his Staff Operations Officer certification from the Central Intelligence Agency and holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology and Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from California State University, Long Beach and the University of California, Irvine.

Matt Blandford |

Matt Blandford joined the leadership team in 2017 as the Director of Business Development and is responsible for providing direction for the Business Development division of Sedulo Group. This includes the development and execution of the company’s overall strategic mission, including a focus on marketing, sales development, and account management. Prior to joining Sedulo, Matt provided strategic account management to one of the nation’s leading healthcare technology and consulting firms. In addition to strategic account management, Matt developed and implemented the organization’s Client Retention Program, as well as expanding the organization’s Account Management Program. Matt also has extensive experience in B2B marketing, channel sales, and client support. He is a Louisville native and received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky, with a focus on Business Management.

Aditya Kelkar |

Aditya Kelkar joined Sedulo in January 2019 as a Strategic Business Insights Leader for their Life Sciences Division and is responsible for managing projects and working across project teams with a focus on delivering strategic insights to clients. With a decade of experience in the pharma / biotech domain, Aditya has worked in multiple therapy areas in his CI tenure. Before joining Sedulo, he set up a CI function for an investment arm of Cipla (I) Ltd, were he worked closely with senior management to guide decision making on potential investment opportunities for the company. Prior to his work at Cipla, he worked at Amgen and Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a core member of their CI teams. Aditya holds degrees in Biochemistry and Lifesciences and a Business degree focused on the Lifesciences Industry. Aditya is based out of Mumbai, India with his eyes and ears on the global pharma industry.

Phil Britton |

Phil Britton joined Sedulo Group in 2018 as a Strategic Business Insights Leader. Phil is responsible for strategic account management, overseeing research projects across multiple industries and geographies for clients in Sedulo’s Business Services Division. Phil brings nearly twenty years of competitive intelligence experience to Sedulo, having started in competitive intelligence and pricing in 2000 with Best Buy, a leading U.S. specialty retailer. Phil went on to start the competitive intelligence function for another retailer, Ulta Beauty, in 2014. He oversaw competitive monitoring and market share and worked closely with Ulta’s strategy and senior leadership teams on annual and strategic planning processes. As a noted public speaker on competitive intelligence topics, Phil has facilitated workshops and co-chaired competitive intelligence conferences. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and resides outside Chicago.

Monica Kelley |

Monica Kelley joined Sedulo Group in June 2014 as the Corporate Controller. She was promoted to the executive leadership team in 2017 as Finance Director. As Finance Director, Monica works closely with the CEO and COO for purposes of strategic planning and overall insight into the financial operations of the company. Prior to joining Sedulo, Monica spent ten years in private equity and ten years in banking where she was responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. She also has extensive knowledge in payroll, human resources, and risk management. Monica resides in Louisville. She received both her Bachelors of Science in Accounting and her MBA from Indiana University.

Ben McLain |

Ben McLain has supported Sedulo’s business development activities for the past seven years and currently leads many BD functions as the Associate Director of Business Development. With a background in customer service, sales and marketing, Ben brings a fresh and personal approach to his work. Through his time at an advertising agency in Birmingham, Ben has developed skills as a strategic and outside-the-box thinker. Ben’s main focus at Sedulo is on new business development and building deep client relationships across a wide range of industries spanning automotive, consumer goods, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, retail, and more. Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and a Master’s Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.
